Group Fishing Days

These group outings are excellent for sales incentives, entertaining suppliers or buyers, family reunions, etc.. Woody's Sports Center has the facilities and expertise to produce your event in a first class manner with minimal headaches on your part.

Basic Cost Estimates

Fishing - Private guide boats run about $100 per person in the bay to about $150 per person offshore. These boats handle from 3 to 6 persons per boat. If you need up to 50 people on the same boat, we can handle these groups from $600 to $1750 depending on the number of people, length of trip, and whether you prefer bay or offshore fishing. All boats and equipment are first class and well maintained with experienced fishing guides.

Dock Facilities - Woody's has an area available for a party tent should you desire. These items include set-up and take-down at no additional charge.

Catering - Port Aransas has several fine restaurants that are available for catering. Depending on your menu, these services generally run between $9 and $15 per person. One popular catering touch is to cook your catch from the day's outing. We can set up a beer and set-up bar either staffed or "serve yourself". We can also work with your caterer.

Weigh Station - If you would like to incorporate a fishing tournament into your event, we can handle your weigh-in. This cost runs about $200 and include scales, measuring board, weigh masters, and computation of results. We will also be happy to help you with your tournament rules.

Accommodations and Transportation - We will gladly help with your accommodations or recommend lodging for your specific needs.

Auxiliary Activities - For members of your group who are not participating in the fishing trips, we can arrange other activities. These activities might include boat rides, shrimp cocktail cruises, kids' perch fishing contests or golf.
